Sargon Alexander Mayelian, was born in 1934 (d. 2006 US) in the city of kermanshah, Iran. Born to a talented musical family, at the age of 7 years he began to display a great ability for music. He composed primarily folk music of ancient Assyrians using modern trend; his music evokes images of the mystique of the Middle East. with his magic mandolin, he had stared on many TV and Radio programs in Iran, while in US he was on constant demand to appear and play his exciting melodies. His many contributions to the development of modern Assyrian and Middle Eastern folk music is a musical triumph for this artistic composer.
