Biography

My artistic break came in 1979 when I sung in the Iraqi children choir, which was featured on national TV and Radio in Iraq. And In 1987 at the Arab youth Festival in Sudan I represented Iraq and won the first prize (The Golden Medal) playing the “Oud”.

As the time went on I became more involved in music and singing. I started producing tunes and melodies for many Arab and Assyrian famous singers in Iraq and America. Later I was known as the youngest composer (Melody writer) in Iraq. I was born in 1972 in Baghdad and my parents came from the Assyrian city of Alqosh on Northern Iraq.
