Born in Chicago, Johnny Youkhana is the first American born Assyrian singer. He is currently working to release his debut album entitled “Kollan Raqdakh,” 2011. As an American born Assyrian, Johnny has chosen to rejuvenate the folkloric styles of the Middle Eastern region. His hope is to give the young Assyrian generation in diaspora a taste of our ancient Assyrian culture.
