DVD1+CD1

Presents music of legendary Assyrian composers such as Paulus Khofri and William Daniel.  This year we added new young talent to our event such as George Somi, Sam Madoo, Edwin Elieh and Fred Elieh.  The highlight of the event is the cantata (Opera) Ninos and Shamiram, composed by Michel Bosc from France and sang by American opera singers Brian Thorsett, tenor and Liisa Davils, soprano in Assyrian language.  Set to Yosip Bet Yosip’s poem, recreates a portrait of tender love between the Assyrian nobleman Ninos and the beautiful shepherdess Shamiram.

DVD2+CD2
The Assyrian superstar singer Walter Aziz lights up the Mesopotamian Night stage with ten of his songs.  All songs newly orchestrated by Edwin Elieh for the 50-piece Mesopotamia Symphony Orchestra, conducted by John Kendall Bailey, and four backing vocals.  All spiked with a hearty dose of ballet and dance, in sparkling Assyrian costumes, by the Presidio Dance Theatre, choreographed and danced by Sherene Melania.
